Camp Rock Guitar Cake

This is what I came up with when my 9 year old niece asked for a Camp Rock birthday cake that wasn't completely obvious it was Camp Rock. After watching the film I suggested an electric guitar with a funky design and Camp Rock sticker. She loved the idea so here we are.

Wizard of Oz Cake

I will admit that this was not the first birthday cake I made for my dear Mum, I did in fact spend two days creating a fantastic topsy turvy cake only for my 5 year old daughter to knock it off the kitchen table. I was then left with 1 day to come up with a special cake. As my Mum is such a big fan of the Wizard of Oz I decided t orecreate the yellow brick road and those magical red slippers in cake form. The rainbow is compltely sugarcraft held together by florist wire. I also dusted the slippers in dustre dust to give them their sparkle!

Footprint Christening Cake

This cake was made for my youngest sons blessing. I had decided I definetly wanted a cake with footprint detail and that I wanted the footprints to be both blue and white as he had been a twin. I decided to make a two tier stacked cake. The bottom tier is 10'' fruit cake and the top tier is a 8'' sponge cake. I brushed the footprints and and love hearts with lustre dust to creat the shine and sparkle!

Manolo Blahnik Shoe & Box Birthday Cake

The one thing my friend says she would buy as soon as she wins the lottery is a pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes. Unfortunately I wasn't in the position to get her a real pair for her birthday but I thought a cake version would be the next best thing. The shoe is entirely edible and made from sugarpaste.

Space Rocket Birthday Cake

This cake was made for a friend of mine's husband. He has always been a big fan of space and rockets to I thought it was quite fittings to name the rocket after him. To create the trocket I used an 11'' square cake and then cut to the appropriate shape. I decided to leave the front of the ship quite round to provide more cake.

High School Musical Birthday Cake

After seeing my cakes and booking an expensive party at the Build A Bear Factory my friend asked if I could possible make a cae for her daughter. As she was turning 6 and a massive High School Musical fan I decided to attempt those famous High School Musical curtains which I think turned out rather well

Lightning McQueen Birthday Cake

O.K. so this is the lucky little devils second birthday cake, Lightning McQueen, the cake that started my baking journey. I adapted the sponsor badge on the front to read my sons name and also amended Lightnings number from 95 to 2 as it was my sons second birthday.
